Everything was pushed back on the day of Lydia's surgery because of an a girl that has Down's Syndrome. The poor thing was so combative that they had to keep her sedated for all of the tests they needed to perform. Lydia's surgery was scheduled to start at 9:00 but she didn't get wheeled back until almost 12:15. It made for a very long morning. Thank goodness she was the second on the schedule so they put us in the waiting area with all of the toys. She thought it was great fun for a couple hours and then started crying to go home.
